The 39th Canadian Conference on Artificial Intelligence (Canadian AI 2026) took place in-person at Simon Fraser University - Burnaby Campus, from Monday to Friday, May 25th to 29th, 2026. The event was co-located with the Computer and Robot Vision conference (CRV) as part of the joint Canadian Conference on AI, Robots & Vision (AI/CRV) 2026. Each year Canadian AI brings together leading researchers and practitioners in AI from academia, industry, government, and NGOs to build a stronger AI community in Canada. Participants showcase Canada's ingenuity, innovation and leadership in intelligent systems.
