Who are we?

The Canadian Artificial Intelligence Association / Association pour l'Intelligence Artificielle au Canada (CAIAC) is an organization of Canadian AI researchers dedicated to fostering the development of the Canadian AI community through research, education, and outreach activities.

Our main activity is the organization of the annual Canadian Conference on Artificial Intelligence, which brings together researchers and graduate students from universities and industries nationwide. We also sponsored the creation of the scientific journal Computational Intelligence. We offer scientific advice to governments on request, and regularly publish editorials in the media presenting the history, current status, and prospects of AI in Canada.
